Camera Exploration

For this project, we used Canon cameras and went outside to try various settings to take pictures such as aperture, shutter speed, and iso. For aperture, I tried taking pictures of a half empty strawberry Fanta bottle on different camera lens opening settings. For shutter speed, I took pictures of a pinwheel near the office on different speed settings to show the pinwheel moving in different ways. Finally, for iso, I took photos of a branch with flowers on it on different lighting settings to see which would be the best to bring out the colors on the flowers. This is our first assignment and served as an exploration into photography and learning various settings on the camera and how they affect photos taken.
