For this project, we brought in magazines to recreate the covers of in Adobe Photoshop. I chose a New Beauty magazine. I had to do a lot of font matching and placing the original in a layer underneath the recreation on low opacity to match the exact placement of the text. I had to do a lot of moving of text and use character placements such as kerning and tracking. I also color matched the background and text and took a headshot of a classmate to place on the cover.
